Wesley and I entered the dog world in 2001, when we purchased our first dog,
and were immediately bitten by the dog showing bug! However we didn't experience our first Staffordshire Bull Terrier
until February 2004 when Kerry Macklin from Truhaven Kennels bred us our beautiful Maggie.
Maggie has grown up so quickly, I am absolutely thrilled with her temperament and am watching her grow into a lovely girl.
Our children absolutely adore her and she is a wonderful family dog.
Jenny Griffiths from Maxnjay said to me "you need a little
pied boy". I went and saw Joan Morse's litter (Lapwing Staffords) and immediately fell in love with little
Moby. He has grown so much and become so handsome I am having a wonderful time showing him here in England.
I think the most stressful thing I have ever done is transport Maggie
and Moby from Australia to England. Circumstances unfolded that I could not be with them to put them on the
plane in Australia. I think that 24 hours I knew they were flying was one of the most stressful times of my life.
You can see from the photograph the relief we all felt being back together again...we just collapsed in a heap...and Wesley
couldnt resist taking a photograph !!
I have made some wonderful friends through my involvement with Staffordshire
Bull Terriers, there is always someone to talk to....yes I can spend hours on the phone talking about these wonderful dogs.
Something I have learned through my involvement in the dog world is where ever you go there are always wonderful friends to
be made. I must say a special thank you to Dianne, Veronica, Jo, Denise, Nancy, John and Jan for being so friendly and
making my transition from Australia to England less lonely.
Also a special thank you to Kerry Macklin and Joan Morse in Australia for
breeding my beautiful Staffords. I miss everyone back home so a special hello to you all as well, I hope to be seeing you
in February at KCC Park so make sure you save some champagne for me !!
I hope you enjoy my site as much as I have enjoyed putting it together.
This is my first attempt at web page building.....I hope all my visitors do not find it too challenging to view !!
